Vetera West Nile Virus Vaccine, Single Dose

Vetera West Nile Virus Vaccine is for the vaccination of healthy horses 4 months of age or older, including pregnant mares, against West Nile virus (WNV), a mosquito-borne viral disease. The vaccine provides a duration of immunity of at least 12 months and helps support preventive equine health care.

Features:

• Dose: 1 mL per injection
• Administration: Intramuscular (IM) injection
• Package includes: One 1 mL dose, syringe, and needle

Directions:

• Shake well before use.
• Using aseptic technique, administer one 1 mL dose intramuscularly.
• Administer a second 1 mL dose 3–4 weeks later, using a different injection site.
  

Storage:

Store refrigerated at 35–46°F (2–8°C). Do not freeze.

Cautions/Warnings:

Do not mix with other products. Use the entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate horses within 21 days before slaughter. If an anaphylactoid reaction occurs, administer epinephrine. In case of human exposure, contact a physician. For animal use only.
