A legacy of care since 1975
Jeffers was founded by Dr. Keith Jeffers, PhD — affectionately known as "Dr. J" — in the basement of his ranch home. What began as a trusted advisor role to local livestock owners quickly evolved into something more. Realizing his customers needed a better, more affordable source for animal health supplies, Dr. J took to the road, building relationships door-to-door and hand-delivering the first Jeffers Catalogs with his wife Dorothy and daughters Mary and Ruth.
That commitment to quality, service, and affordability continues today — 50 years later.

Rooted in Dothan, Alabama
All orders from Jeffers are filled and shipped from our 120,000 square foot warehouse in Dothan, Alabama home to our headquarters, call center, and warehouse store (open to the public). Pharmacy orders are shipped separately through our Veterinary Pharmacy partner, Pet's Choice Pharmacy, located in Belleville, Kansas.
