Clostridium Chauvoei-Septicum-Novyi-Sordellii-Perfringens Types C And D Bacterin-Toxoid

Ultrabac 7 is a clostridial bacterin-toxoid vaccine for healthy cattle and sheep. It helps protect against seven clostridial disease-causing toxins and organisms associated with blackleg, malignant edema, black disease, gas gangrene, enterotoxemia, and enteritis. This vaccine contains killed, standardized cultures of *Clostridium chauvoei, C. septicum, C. novyi, C. sordellii,* and *C. perfringens* Types C and D, with an adjuvant. It is designed to help protect against diseases caused by *C. perfringens* Types B, C, and D.

Indications:

For use in healthy cattle and sheep to help protect against disease caused by *Clostridium chauvoei, C. septicum, C. novyi, C. sordellii,* and *C. perfringens* Types B, C, and D.

Directions & Dosage:

Administer subcutaneously (under the skin).

• Cattle: 5 mL per dose. Administer a second dose 3–4 weeks later.
• Sheep: 2.5 mL per dose. Administer a second dose 3–4 weeks later.

Revaccination: Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.

Withdrawal Period:

Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.

• 50 ml vial - Cattle 10-dose or Sheep 20-dose
• 250 mL vial - Cattle 50-dose or Sheep 100-dose
• 1000 mL vial - Cattle 200-dose or Sheep 400-dose

Storage:

Store at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F). Do not freeze. Use the entire contents once opened.

Precautions:

Do not vaccinate animals within 21 days before slaughter. Anaphylaxis may occur following vaccination; epinephrine is recommended as an initial antidote, followed by appropriate supportive therapy. Contains formalin as a preservative. Do not mix with other products. If human exposure occurs, consult a physician. The product has not been tested in pregnant animals. Consult a veterinarian regarding vaccination during pregnancy.
