The Thermo-Kitty bed has a dual thermostat 4-watt heating unit buried deep within its thick, super soft, orthopedic foam base. It warms the surface 10°-15° F above ambient air temperature to a cat pleasing 102° F when in use (which is a cat, or dog, natural temperature).This product can be plugged in all day, but it is recommended to unplug it anytime you are away from your home since it does not have a on/off button. Indoor use only. 16" diameter. MET Listed. 5.5 feet long cord.

Keep in mind that extension cords are not chew proof, and use may change the wattage, resulting in failure or poor performance.

Great for small dogs too.

I it, however…

I like it and the kitty gets in it and sleeps in it and seems to like it. However, I don’t think it gets that warm.
