Elanco Tapeworm Dewormer provides effective treatment for common tapeworms in dogs and puppies over 4 weeks of age. Each scored tablet contains 34 mg of praziquantel to remove Dipylidium caninum and Taenia pisiformis. Tablets can be given orally or crumbled and mixed with food for convenient administration. Fasting is neither necessary nor recommended.

Retreatment and Reinfection Prevention:

If reinfection occurs, tapeworm segments may reappear within one month of treatment. Consult your veterinarian for guidance on diagnosis, treatment, and parasite control.

Possible Side Effects:

Isolated cases of vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite, or listlessness have been reported following treatment and were considered non-significant. If these signs occur and persist, consult your veterinarian.
