Parmak Solar-Pak 12 Fence Charger

I have had dozens of fence charges, plug in and solar over the 60 plus years I have had horses, always hit and killed by lightning strikes, living in Florida...they are destroyed, by the lighting. BUT PARMAK should hire me for commercials. These really are the best! I have over 8. I have a breeding horse farm with stallions, mares, babies, weanlings, yearlings, horses in training, outside mares to be bred, each paddock is wired and has a redundant system just in case something fails. Which is SUPER rare over the 20+ years I have used them the only thing is the battery will eventually have to be replaced, after many years. I love, love, love, this product and tell everyone this is the ONLY system to get. The 12 volt use 3 ground poles and never have to worry ever! use for horses, cows, dogs, bears, deer you name it they WORK GREAT!! worth every penny

Seven years after installing three units covering 1/2 mile total, they have been flawless. I use a car battery in box for charging and aftermarket small solar panels. Each unit has three 8’ ground rods minimum though, after lighting storm took one out (I live on a hill). Tall grass and brush hardly bother the signal. You can install a fault LED device that hangs on wire to flash when power lost.

Does not work. Disappointed.

This is the most amazing product - down here in Puerto Rico everyone uses barbed wire to keep their animals contained, since moving here I've been able to introduce this product along with the electric wire as an alternative to field fencing for my horses

Love this fence charger. It was easy to hook up and works great. I had to return the first one because of a malfunction and the customer service was exceptional to deal with. I was so impressed with the entire process. Would buy again and have recomme
