Salmonella Dublin-Typhimurium Bacterin is a killed bacterial vaccine for healthy cattle that aids in the prevention of Salmonella infections caused by *Salmonella dublin* and *Salmonella typhimurium*. Formulated with formalin-killed bovine isolates and aluminum hydroxide adjuvant, this bacterin is intended for use in cattle herds where Salmonella infections are a concern.

Dosage & Vaccination Schedule:

• Dosage: Administer 2 mL subcutaneously (SQ)
• Primary vaccination: Give two 2 mL injections, 14–21 days apart.
• Adult cattle: Vaccination is recommended before placing cattle on feed.
• Newborn calves: Leave calves with their dams for 7 days before administering the bacterin.
• Pregnant cows: Safety is unknown. Consult a veterinarian before vaccinating.

Withdrawal Period:

Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.

Precautions:

• Pregnancy: Confirm the appropriate vaccination timing and safety with a veterinarian before use.
• Adverse reactions: Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. If a reaction develops, administer epinephrine (adrenalin) or an equivalent treatment as directed by a veterinarian.
• Preservatives: Contains thimerosal and formaldehyde.
