10% Fenbendazole
Safe-Guard® Fenbendazole Paste 10% is a broad-spectrum, apple-cinnamon flavored dewormer formulated for use in both horses and cattle. The palatable paste ensures easy dosing with less waste, while delivering reliable control of a wide range of internal parasites. Each 92 g syringe treats up to 4,000 lb of body weight, making it a cost-effective choice for multiple animals, large horses, or herd deworming programs.
Treats and controls large strongyles (Strongylus edentatus, S. equinus, S. vulgaris), small strongyles (including encysted larvae), pinworms (Oxyuris equi), ascarids (Parascaris equorum), and arteritis caused by 4th stage larvae of Strongylus vulgaris. Safe for oral use in all horses, foals, and ponies.
Controls lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus), stomach worms (Ostertagia, Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus spp.), and intestinal worms (Bunostomum, Cooperia, Nematodirus, Trichostrongylus, Oesophagostomum spp.).
For animal use only. Do not use in humans. Not for use in horses intended for human consumption. Withdrawal periods apply for cattle: milk must not be used for human consumption during treatment and for 96 hours after the last dose; cattle must not be slaughtered for human consumption within 8 days of last treatment. Always dose according to current body weight. Underdosing may lead to ineffective treatment and parasite resistance. Consult a veterinarian for parasite management programs.
Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children and animals when not in use.
