Rx Panacur 10% Suspension (Fenbendazole)

Panacur Suspension is used for horses and cattle in treatment of lungworms, stomach worms and intestinal worms.

Features Fenbendazole as an active ingredient.

NOTE: Only the liter is indicated for horses.

Used for the removal and control in horses dosed at 5mg/kg (2.3 mg/lb):

  • Lungworm: (Dictyocaulus viviparus)
  • Stomach worm (adults): Osteragia (brown stomach worm)
  • Stomach worm (adults & 4th stage larvae): Haemonchus contortus/placei (barberpole worm), Trichostrongylus axei (small stomach worm)
  • Intestinal worm (adults & 4th stage larvae): Bunostomum phlebotomum (hookworm), Nematodirus helvetianus (thread-necked intestinal worm), Cooperia punctata and C. oncophora (small intestinal worm), Trichostrongylus colubriformis (bankrupt worm), Oesophagosomum radiatum (nodular worm).

Used for the removal and control of in Beef Cattle dosed at 10mg/kg (4.6mg/lb):

  • Stomach worm (4th stage inhibited larvae): Ostertagia ostertagi (type II Osertagiasis)
  • Tapeworm: Moniezia benedeni

Dosage:

One liter deworms 43,478 lb. of cattle; one gallon deworms 164,565 lb. of cattle. (2.33 m/100 lb. of cattle).

Beef and Dairy Cattle: Administer orally by suitable dosing syringe. Insert nozzle of syringe through the interdental space and deposit the medicine on the back of the tongue by depressing the plunger. This may also be administered by stomach tube.

Do not underdose. Ensure each animal receives a complete dose based on current body weight. Shake well before use.

Withdrawal Period:

Milk taken from cows during treatment and for 48 hours after the last treatment but not be used for human consumption. Not for use in beef calves less than 2 months of age, dairy calves, and veal calves. A withdrawal period has not been established in pre-ruminating calves for this product.

Storage:

Store at or below 25° C (or 77° F). Protect from freezing.
