Rx NexGard™ Chewables

A convenient solution to an annoying problem—NexGard is the first flea and tick killer in a beef-flavored chew, a piece of health your dog will easily love. Designed specifically for dogs, it kills adult fleas before they lay eggs, and kills ticks upon administration. It is used in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older, weighing 4 pounds or greater, for one month.

Each chewable contains an ingredient, afoxolaner, a brand-new ingredient not used in any other flea and tick protection. It absorbs rapidly and safely into your pet's bloodstream. When fleas and ticks ingest blood containing afoxolaner, it causes hyperexcitation to their nervous system and then death to these parasites. It is slowly excreted through your pet's metabolism, which allows it to continue to provide effective treatment for a full 30 days. This means amazing protection in a tasty morsel! NexGard can be taken alongside your regular heartworm medication.

Dosage and Administration:

Nexgard™ is given orally once a month, at the minimum dosage of 1.14mg/lb (2.5mg/kg).

Storage:

Store at or below 30 °C (86°F) with excursions permitted up to 40°C (104°F). Keep Nexgard in a secure location out of reach of dogs, cats, and other animals to prevent accidental ingestion or overdose.
