Rx Neo/Poly/Dex Ophthalmic Suspension for Animals, 5 mL
Neo/Poly/Dex Ophthalmic Suspension is a prescription eye medication that combines two antibiotics, neomycin and polymyxin B, with dexamethasone, a corticosteroid. This combination helps treat susceptible bacterial eye infections while reducing associated inflammation and swelling. It may be prescribed for certain steroid-responsive eye conditions when bacterial infection is present or there is a risk of infection.
Veterinarians may prescribe this medication for dogs, cats, horses, and other animals when appropriate. The suspension is intended for ophthalmic use only and should be administered according to your veterinarian's instructions. Because corticosteroids can worsen certain eye conditions, a veterinary examination is important before use.
