Rx Liquid SpectoGard Scour-Chek is a fast-acting, ready-to-use oral antibiotic solution formulated for the treatment and control of porcine enteric colibacillosis (scours) in young pigs. Approved by the FDA, this proven anti-infective contains spectinomycin and is effective against susceptible gram-negative and gram-positive organisms, including E. coli. Its palatable formula is readily accepted by piglets and delivers reliable results within 3 to 5 days.

Directions:

For oral administration only. Use the plastic doser supplied with the 240 mL bottle for accurate dosing. The 1000 mL bottle is intended solely for refilling the 240 mL container. Remove the cap and doser from the 240 mL bottle, pour the desired amount from the 1000 mL bottle, and reinsert the doser securely. Follow all detailed dosing and administration instructions provided on the carton of the 240 mL bottle. Do not administer within 21 days of slaughter. Restricted Drug — use only as directed.

Each mL contains: Spectinomycin (from spectinomycin dihydrochloride pentahydrate) 50 mg.

Cautions/Warnings:

For use only in pigs under four (4) weeks of age or weighing less than 15 lbs. Not for use in animals intended for slaughter within 21 days. Store at controlled room temperature between 20°C and 25°C (68°F to 77°F), with excursions permitted between 15°C and 30°C (59°F to 86°F).
