Rx Levetiracetam Oral Solution is a prescription anticonvulsant medication used to help prevent and manage seizures in dogs, cats, and other veterinary patients. As a generic equivalent to Keppra®, levetiracetam provides veterinarians with a trusted option for seizure control and may be used alone or alongside other anticonvulsant medications as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

This easy-to-administer oral solution begins working within a few hours and is commonly used for pets with epilepsy, refractory seizures, seizure disorders caused by underlying conditions, or as supportive therapy when other seizure medications do not provide adequate control. Levetiracetam is well tolerated by many pets and is often selected because it has a wide safety margin compared to some traditional anticonvulsants.

Possible Side Effects:

Storage:

Store at room temperature, approximately 77°F (25°C). Excursions between 59°F and 86°F (15°C and 30°C) are permitted.
