Rx Fluoxetine Capsules

Fluoxetine is a prescription anti-anxiety medication designed to help manage behavioral conditions in pets. It is commonly prescribed for dogs to treat separation anxiety and obsessive-compulsive behaviors and for cats to address inappropriate elimination. Your veterinarian may also recommend Fluoxetine for other conditions as needed.

Directions:

Dosage varies depending on the condition being treated, your pet’s response, and the development of any potential side effects. Administer exactly as prescribed by your veterinarian. Do not exceed the recommended dose, and consult your veterinarian before discontinuing use. It may take 3 to 4 weeks or longer for Fluoxetine to show its full effects. Fluoxetine can be given with or without food.

Ingredients:

  • Fluoxetine Hydrochloride 10 mg

Cautions/Warnings:

Do not use Fluoxetine in animals with a history of epilepsy or seizures. Exercise caution when administering to pets with liver disease or diabetes. Always keep this medication out of the reach of children and animals.
