Rx EstroPLAN (cloprostenol sodium) Injection
EstroPLAN Injection is a prescription prostaglandin product used in beef and dairy cattle to induce luteolysis and manage reproductive efficiency. Its luteolytic action allows producers and veterinarians to synchronize estrus, control breeding schedules, terminate pregnancies resulting from mismating, and treat reproductive conditions associated with prolonged luteal function. EstroPLAN is an effective tool for improving herd reproductive management when used according to label directions.

Directions:
EstroPLAN is for intramuscular use in cattle only. Administer 2 mL per animal (500 mcg cloprostenol) by intramuscular injection for all labeled indications. Estrus typically occurs within 2 to 5 days following treatment in animals with a mature corpus luteum. Animals should be bred at the usual time following detection of estrus. When estrus detection is not possible, insemination may be performed at approximately 72 hours, or at both 72 and 96 hours post-injection, depending on the management program being used.
For controlled breeding programs, EstroPLAN may be administered as either a single injection or as part of a two-injection protocol given 11 days apart. Prior to use, cattle should be confirmed as nonpregnant, anatomically normal, and cycling. Consultation with a veterinarian is recommended when designing a controlled breeding or synchronization program.
Ingredients:
Each mL contains 263 mcg cloprostenol sodium, 1 mg chlorocresol (bactericide), 0.66 mg citric acid anhydrous, 5.03 mg sodium citrate, and 6.76 mg sodium chloride.
