Enroflox Injection for Dogs is a prescription fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in dogs. It provides broad-spectrum activity against susceptible Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria associated with skin, respiratory, and urinary tract infections.

Each mL contains 22.7 mg of enrofloxacin. This injectable solution is commonly used as an initial dose, followed by oral enrofloxacin therapy as directed by a veterinarian.

Indications:

Enroflox Injection is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections in dogs, including:

Dosage and Administration:

Administer 2.5 mg/kg (1.13 mg/lb) by intramuscular (IM) injection as a single initial dose. Follow with oral enrofloxacin tablets approximately 12 hours later, as directed by a veterinarian.

  • 15 lb: 0.75 mL
  • 20 lb: 1.00 mL

Storage:

Store at 59°–77°F (15°–25°C). Excursions permitted up to 86°F (30°C). Avoid prolonged exposure above 104°F (40°C). Protect from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Use within 90 days after first puncture.

  • Do not use in cats due to risk of retinal toxicity
  • Not recommended for use in growing dogs (2–8 months for small and medium breeds; longer for large breeds)
