Rx Cardalis Chewable Tablets are formulated to help manage the clinical signs of mild, moderate, or severe congestive heart failure in dogs. This combination medication contains spironolactone and benazepril hydrochloride, which work together to support heart function and help reduce fluid buildup associated with heart disease. The chewable tablet format makes administration easier for many dogs and can be given with or without food as directed by your veterinarian.

Directions:

Administer orally as directed by your veterinarian. Cardalis® may be given with or without food. Do not stop administering this medication without your veterinarian’s approval. If a dose is missed, give it as soon as possible unless it is close to the next scheduled dose.

Cautions and Warnings:

Do not use in dogs sensitive to ACE inhibitors or spironolactone. Do not use with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in dogs with renal insufficiency. Do not administer to dogs with Addison’s disease, hyperkalemia, or hyponatremia. Possible side effects may include stomach upset, vomiting, diarrhea, or decreased appetite. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage:

Store at controlled room temperature between 68°F and 77°F, with permitted excursions between 59°F and 86°F.
