Rx Bexacat Diabetes Medication for Cats, 15 mg Tablets
Bexacat® is a prescription oral medication designed to help manage diabetes in cats weighing 6.6 lbs. (3 kg) or greater who have not previously been treated with insulin. This once-daily flavored tablet provides an alternative to insulin injections by helping the kidneys remove excess glucose through the urine, which helps support healthy blood sugar levels.
Unlike traditional insulin therapy, Bexacat does not require injections or needles, making daily diabetes management easier for eligible cats and their owners. Each flavored tablet is given by mouth once daily, with or without food, as directed by your veterinarian. Regular veterinary monitoring is required to evaluate your cat’s response and watch for potential side effects.
