QuickBayt® Spot Spray — Ready-to-Mix Fly Bait Spray
QuickBayt Spot Spray is a bait-in-a-bottle fly control that combines a fast-acting active ingredient with powerful attractants for long-lasting control in and around animal facilities. Each formulation contains 10% imidacloprid and two proprietary attractants (including muscalure) to lure and kill house flies — often in as little as 60 seconds. The concentrate mixes with water to create a sprayable “bait station” that adheres to walls, beams, posts, and other fly-resting surfaces where granular baits can’t reach.
QuickBayt Spot Spray delivers the convenience of a bait-in-a-bottle with the reach of a spray—fast knockdown plus long residual control for facilities where flies are a persistent problem.
Benefits:
- Kills flies quickly — often within 60 seconds of contact
- Long residual control: up to 6 weeks indoors / protected areas, up to 2 weeks outdoors
- Two potent attractants (muscalure + flavor) increase uptake
- Includes Bitrex (bittering agent) to reduce accidental ingestion by non-target animals
- Ready-to-mix concentrate for spot, brush/paint, or coarse-spray applications
- Dries nearly clear and can be applied to hard-to-reach resting places
Best For:
- Feed lots, dairy barns, swine buildings
- Horse stables and poultry houses
- Dog kennels, veterinary clinics, and animal facilities
- Walls, ceilings, pillars, fence posts, runways, and other fly-resting surfaces
Product Forms & What’s in the Bottle:
- 3 oz concentrate in 24 oz capacity spray bottle (mix & use as directed)
- Active ingredient: 10% Imidacloprid
- Contains attractants, Bitrex (bittering agent), and formulation carriers
Mixing & Coverage:
- Trigger/3 oz spray bottle: Fill bottle with water to the indicated fill line and spray on fly-resting surfaces. This package will treat approximately 188 sq ft of fly-resting surfaces (spot application: 3–12 sq ft per treated spot).
- 1 gallon mix (bulk application): Mix concentrate with 1 gallon of water to treat up to 1,000 sq ft of fly-resting surfaces (apply as coarse spray or paint-on bands).
- Use diluted mix within 24 hours of mixing.
Application Methods:
- Spot spray: Apply as coarse spray to spots where flies rest (3–12 sq ft spots). For a building with 1,000 sq ft floor area, you may apply up to 50 spots of 10 sq ft each without exceeding the recommended limit (do not exceed 8 oz product per 1,000 sq ft).
- Paint-on: Use a brush or roller to apply small bands (up to 6 wide) on surfaces where flies aggregate.
- Coarse spray (low pressure ≤ 20 psi): Apply to structural surfaces (walls, rafters, posts). Flush spray equipment with water after use to prevent clogging.
- Reapplication: Reapply only as needed, and not before 7 days after initial application.
Performance Expectations:
- Provides residual control up to 6 weeks indoors/protected areas and up to 2 weeks outdoors, depending on environmental conditions and exposure.
- For heavily soiled or high-pressure fly areas, a higher localized concentration or more frequent applications may be used as directed on the label.
Safety & Cautions:
- FOR PREMISE USE ONLY — not for direct application to animals.
- Contains a bittering agent (Bitrex) to discourage accidental ingestion, but keep product away from animals and children.
- Harmful if swallowed. Causes eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing.
- Wear appropriate protective equipment (gloves, eye protection) when mixing and applying.
- Do not apply ammonia or vinegar prior to using QuickBayt — these will reduce product effectiveness.
- Store containers upright and secure; mix solutions only as directed and use within 24 hours.
Important Use Notes:
- Mix and apply only according to label directions and local regulations.
- For best results, treat multiple locations throughout the facility where flies rest.
- Do not exceed labeled application rates (example: do not exceed 8 oz product per 1,000 sq ft).
