The Professional's Choice Stone Dot Dog Bone Bit adds a new and super fun twist to the regular old cheekpiece on your bits. The 6" polished steel cheeks are decorated with beautiful copper and silver dots, as well as, purple and turquoise or red and turquoise stones. These weighted cheeks offer more control and added poll pressure while maintaining clean lateral movement. The dog bone mouthpiece is 5 1/4" wide and features copper roller on the dog bone.

The dog bone mouthpiece combines a smooth snaffle mouth with a dog bone which eliminates the nutcracker effect of a regular snaffle. The nutcracker effect is when the ring in the middle of a regular snaffle mouth is pushed to the roof of your horse's mouth when pressure is applied with the reins.

Note: These bits will rust when exposed to moisture. This creates a sweet taste in the horse's mouth and promotes salivation.
