Measuring alone won't do it.

I followed measuring instructions carefully and the muzzles did not fit. The muzzel is very tapered from the measurement up by the eyes to the end of the nose. My dogs nose was so compressed in this muzzle that she could not breathe easily. Extending th

Good muzzle

I took some of the extras from the inside of the muzzle to give a little extra room. Then I cut some of material off of the end so that the dog could lick and take a little food. It works to keep my dog from biting the other dogs.

Durable, cheap, effective

Works well, doesn't rub noses raw, allows the dog to pant and drink. Plastic is slightly rubbery and flexible, which is a good thing as well. I would buy these again (if necessary =)
