Permectrin® II 10% Permethrin Insecticide for Livestock, Horses, Dogs, and Premises

Contains 10% permethrin (0.75 lb per gallon).

Permectrin II is an emulsifiable insecticide concentrate for use on horses, beef and dairy cattle, swine, sheep, poultry, dogs, and their premises. It provides up to 30 days of residual insect control when used as directed.

This product aids in the control of flies, fleas, lice, mites, ticks (including deer ticks that may carry Lyme disease), mosquitoes, spiders, and cockroaches. It may be applied as a spray, dip, backrubber treatment, fog, or premise spray according to label directions.

Common Dilution Rates

Premise Spray or Fog: 8 oz makes 6.25 gallons; 1 quart makes 25 gallons.

Animal Spray (General Use): 8 oz in 3 gallons; 2.5 oz in 1 gallon; 20 mL (4 teaspoons) in 1 quart of water.

Measurement Conversion: 1 oz = 2 tablespoons = 30 mL.

Large Animal Use: Mix 8 oz in 5 gallons or 1 quart in 20 gallons of oil for backrubbers and oilers. Mix 2 oz in 1 gallon of oil or water for spot application. Mix 8 oz in 50 gallons or 1 quart in 200 gallons of water as a spray for beef or dairy cattle and horses.

Swine, Sheep, Poultry, and Dog Use: Mix 8 oz in 25 gallons or 1 quart in 100 gallons of water as a spray, paint, or dip for swine, sheep, and dogs. For poultry, mix 8 oz in 12.5 gallons or 1 quart in 50 gallons of water and apply 1/2 oz per bird or 1 gallon per 100 birds.

IMPORTANT: Read entire label before each use. Use only on dogs and their premises, horses, beef and dairy cattle, swine, sheep, poultry, and their premises. Kills flies, fleas, lice, mites, and ticks including deer ticks (carrier of Lyme disease).

Cautions

  • Do not use on cats.
  • Do not use on dogs under 12 weeks of age (3 months).
  • Application on pet dogs must be done indoors only.
  • Do not spray feed, food, or water.
  • Do not repeat treatment within 14 days unless directed on label.
  • Wash udders thoroughly before milking.
  • Not for use in indoor or outdoor misting systems.
  • Swine: Do not ship for slaughter within 5 days of last treatment.
  • Do not apply directly into drains, sewers, or water sources.
  • Any use not clearly defined on the label should be done only under supervision of a qualified veterinary professional.
