Nobivac 2-FeLV Feline Leukemia Vaccine, 25 x 1 mL Doses

Nobivac 2-FeLV is a feline leukemia virus (FeLV) vaccine for healthy cats 9 weeks of age and older. It aids in the prevention of lymphoid tumors associated with FeLV infection and helps prevent viremia following exposure to virulent feline leukemia virus.

Dosage and Administration:

Administer two 1 mL doses according to the following schedule:

  • Initial Vaccination: Give one 1 mL dose subcutaneously or intramuscularly to cats 9 weeks of age or older.
  • Second Vaccination: Give a second 1 mL dose 3 to 4 weeks after the initial vaccination.

Storage:

Store refrigerated at 2–8°C (35–46°F). Do not freeze.

Cautions/Warnings:

  • Pregnancy: Do not vaccinate pregnant cats.
  • Preservatives: Contains gentamicin and amphotericin B.
  • Injection-Site Reactions: Some reports suggest that certain veterinary biological products may be associated with injection-site fibrosarcomas in cats.
  • Hypersensitivity Reactions: Vaccination may cause anaphylaxis or other inflammatory, immune-mediated reactions. Epinephrine, corticosteroids, and antihistamines may be indicated depending on the nature and severity of the reaction.
