Don't wait til you see signs of hoof damage, stop it before it even starts with Ketatex Hoof Gel! It protects the hooves from damage caused by excess water absorption, manure, and urine. Use year round, rain or shine, for best hoof protection. The hydrophobic formula helps keep hoof horn water tight in wet weather to prevent cracking in dry weather. Also contains a natural disinfectant to help maintain hooves in a healthy condition.
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Start with a clean, dry hoof. Apply to the hoof wall using a hoof brush. Start just below the coronary band and work downwards.
For complete protection, apply to the sole and frog as well.
Allow to dry before riding or turning out. When dry, buff with a cloth for natural sheen.
After several applications the hoof will be easier to clean and dry as most water will runoff, and what remains can be dried with a cloth.
