This is a great bit to have in the tack rom because it helps keep a naturally bendy horse from bending too much at the neck, giving you more control at the rib cage. it will keep their shoulder up and stabilized for the turn. the shorter shank gives a moderate amount of "whoa" while the slight gag action gives a quick response to help position your horse. It is a great choice for the intermediate to advanced level horse and can be used for both practice and competition.
Part of the Martha Josey collection. This bit helps to lift and stabilize horses that tend to drop their shoulders. Tightening the curb chain will increase the leverage to both shoulder lift and rate. Made with a Mullen mouth. The 5.5" mouth is 3/8" in diameter with 7" cheeks.
