I love everything about this blanket from the belly band to the velcro over the front closures.

This is a wonderful, heavy duty, HEAVY blanket. We are in Montana where it can get to about -50° some winters, and you have to have a blanket heavy enough to compensate for taking away their coats ability to naturally insulate if you are going to blanket. This one does the trick! My horses only use a blanket maybe once or twice a year, but I make sure to have one for each of them just in case. The exterior is nice and tough, and we have barbed wire so definitely need something that can stand up to that. I love the full belly with the clips and Velcro. This blanket is for a little horse that came from southern Arizona and this is his first winter here…so it had to be nice and warm!
The only thing that I don’t like, is that the chest is not adjustable at all. Would be nice if that could be cinched in or loosened up. Still, it’s overall a wonderful blanket if you need something tough and heavy for brutal winters.

Don’t normally use blankets. But my oldest horse is now 25. She got cold last year so this year I got this blanket for her. Wasn’t even sure if I would need it because we live in Tennessee. But so far this year we have used it 4 nights. I can tell she really loves it. Stays where it should is nice and warm all you could ask for.

You can’t best this blanket. It has all the bells and whistles. Price is amazing.
Only downside is there are no hooks to attach a neck cover. Which makes it hard when wanting to avoid to many— multiple blankets.

Bought it right before the big storms hit California. Even with the high winds the blanket stayed on and kept the horses dry. Highly recommended
