Designed specifically for the unique proportions of draft horses and draft crosses, the Jeffers Solaris 1200D Medium Weight Draft Horse Turnout Blanket provides a comfortable fit without simply sizing up a standard horse blanket. Its draft-specific design accommodates broader backs, longer barrels, muscular necks, and broad, upright chests.

The rugged 1200 denier outer shell is waterproof and breathable, while 240g polyfill provides medium-weight warmth for cold-weather turnout. A contoured skirt adds extra belly coverage, and generous shoulder gussets help maintain freedom of movement. The adjustable chest closure provides flexibility for a broader chest and allows for a more customized fit.

Elastic belly bands and hind leg straps provide a secure, flexible fit while allowing comfortable movement. The elastic construction can also provide additional give if a horse becomes caught. Reflective strips at the chest and rear improve visibility during low-light conditions, making nighttime checks easier.

Each blanket includes replacement belly bands, hind leg straps, and chest straps for convenient maintenance and long-term use.
