IVOMEC® Pour-On Cattle Wormer contains 5 mg of ivermectin per mL and helps treat and control a range of internal and external parasites in beef cattle. Applied topically along the backline, this pour-on solution is absorbed through the skin to help control worms, grubs, mites, lice, and horn flies.

Directions:

Administer topically at the labeled dose of 1 mL per 22 lb of body weight (500 mcg ivermectin per kg). Apply the full dose in a narrow strip along the backline, from the withers to the tailhead.

• Determine each animal’s current body weight before dosing.
• Use the measuring cup or compatible applicator to deliver the correct dose.
• When an animal’s weight falls between measuring marks, use the higher setting.
• Do not underdose, as inadequate dosing may reduce effectiveness and contribute to parasite resistance.

Administration Equipment:

• 250 mL and 1 L bottles: Include a measuring cup and dip tube. Follow the package instructions to assemble, measure, squeeze, and pour the dose. Remove the measuring cup after use and replace the shipping cap.
• 2.5 L and 5 L collapsible packs: Require a compatible applicator gun and draw-off tubing. Use equipment recommended for this formulation and follow the equipment manufacturer's instructions.
• 20 L container: Requires compatible automatic dosing equipment, draw-off tubing, and the appropriate cap with stem.

Check equipment for leaks and prime it according to the manufacturer's instructions. If the applicator will not be used for more than 12 hours, follow the label directions for disconnecting and returning product from the equipment to the container. Do not wash equipment if the label specifically prohibits washing.

Withdrawal and Restrictions:

• Meat withdrawal: Do not treat cattle within 48 days of slaughter for human consumption.
• Dairy cattle: Do not use in female dairy cattle of breeding age because a milk withdrawal period has not been established.
• Pre-ruminating calves: A withdrawal period has not been established. Do not use in calves intended for veal.

Storage:

Store at or below 77°F (25°C) and protect from light. Temperature excursions up to 104°F (40°C) are permitted.
