Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR) - Parainfluenza 3 (PI3) - Respiratory Synctial Virus Vaccine (BRSV) - MLV (Modified Live Virus)

INFORCE® 3 Cattle Vaccine is a modified-live virus (MLV) vaccine for intranasal use in cattle. It helps protect against bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) and aids in the prevention of infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) and parainfluenza 3 (PI3). Its intranasal formulation is designed to stimulate respiratory immunity and support a healthier start for beef and dairy cattle.

Safety has been demonstrated in cattle of various ages, types, and classes, including pregnant cows, calves 0–8 days old, weaned calves, and highly stressed cattle. Consult a veterinarian regarding vaccination strategies, particularly for pregnant animals.

Directions & Dosage:

For intranasal use only.

• Reconstitution: Aseptically rehydrate the freeze-dried vaccine with the sterile diluent provided. Shake well before administration.
• Dosage: Administer 2 mL intranasally using a cannula or a syringe with the needle removed. The full dose may be placed in one nostril or divided equally, with 1 mL administered into each nostril.
• Primary Vaccination: Maternal antibodies may interfere with the development of active immunity. Additional booster vaccinations may be necessary in young animals. Consult the product label and a veterinarian for an appropriate vaccination schedule.

Withdrawal:

Do not vaccinate cattle within 21 days before slaughter.

Available Package Sizes:

• 1-Dose: One vial of freeze-dried vaccine and 2 mL of sterile diluent; reconstitute to 2 mL.
• 10-Dose: One vial of freeze-dried vaccine and 20 mL of sterile diluent; reconstitute to 20 mL.
• 25-Dose: One vial of freeze-dried vaccine and 50 mL of sterile diluent; reconstitute to 50 mL.
• 50-Dose: One vial of freeze-dried vaccine and 100 mL of sterile diluent; reconstitute to 100 mL.

Storage:

• Store at 2–8°C (36–46°F). Do not freeze. Protect from direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to higher temperatures, which may reduce vaccine potency. 

Cautions/Warnings:

• Use the entire contents immediately after opening or reconstituting. Use sterilized syringes and equipment. Do not sterilize equipment with chemicals, as disinfectant residues may inactivate the vaccine. Do not mix with other products except as specified on the label. Inactivate unused vaccine before disposal. Contains gentamicin as a preservative.
• Pregnant Animals: The fetal health risks associated with modified-live vaccines in pregnant animals cannot be definitively determined from clinical trials conducted for licensure. Discuss appropriate vaccination strategies with a veterinarian.
• Adverse Reactions: Anaphylaxis may occur following vaccination. Epinephrine is recommended as an initial antidote, followed by appropriate supportive therapy.
