Feline Rhinotracheitis - Calici - Panleukopenia Vaccine

The Feline UltraNasal® FVRCP Vaccine helps protect cats and kittens from three major feline diseases: feline viral rhinotracheitis, feline calicivirus, and feline panleukopenia. This intranasal, modified live virus vaccine provides fast immunity without needles—reducing the risk of injection site sarcomas. Recommended for healthy cats and kittens 12 weeks of age or older.

What It Helps Prevent:

  • Feline viral rhinotracheitis (FVR): Caused by feline herpesvirus-1, this highly contagious respiratory infection leads to sneezing, nasal discharge, coughing, fever, and eye inflammation. It has no cure, and infected cats may remain lifelong carriers.
  • Feline calicivirus (FCV): A common virus causing respiratory illness, nasal and eye discharge, oral ulcers, drooling, and sometimes limping. Severe cases may lead to pneumonia or systemic infection.
  • Feline panleukopenia (FPV): Also called feline distemper, this serious disease is caused by feline parvovirus. It attacks rapidly dividing cells, especially in the bone marrow and intestines. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and dehydration. FPV can be fatal, especially in kittens.

Dosage & Administration:

  • Give 0.2 mL intranasally, split between both nostrils
  • Use a new dropper for each cat
  • If given before 12 weeks of age, revaccinate at 12–16 weeks
  • Annual revaccination is recommended

Storage Instructions:

  • Store at 35–45°F (2–7°C); do not freeze
  • Protect from direct sunlight
  • Use entire contents after opening

Important Warnings:

  • For use in healthy, non-parasitized cats only
  • Do not vaccinate pregnant cats
  • Contains gentamicin and fungistat preservatives
  • Rare allergic reactions may occur—treat with epinephrine if needed
