The side with the longer teeth is for shedding and the side with the shorter teeth is for dusting and light hair removal. Easily rotate the spring-action head to the desired side to be used. This curry can get the dust out of your brushes, or your horse! The plastic handle is really comfortable. The only problem is that it doesn't get really far down in really deep coats. I would recommend this product if your favorite horse or pony doesn't h
