Component EZ Cattle Implanter Gun

The Component EZ Cattle Implanter Gun is a lightweight, durable implant applicator designed for efficient and accurate administration of Component® implants containing Tylan to calves. Engineered for ease of use, this implanter features a simple, reliable design with an easy-to-load magazine that allows smooth one-hand operation, helping reduce fatigue and improve consistency during implanting.

Compatible with all Component® implants except Component® TE-200 with Tylan, the Component EZ Implanter is built for long-term performance and easy maintenance, making it a dependable tool for cattle producers.

Features:

  • Designed for administering Component® implants containing Tylan
  • Compatible with all Component® implants except Component® TE-200 with Tylan
  • Lightweight construction for comfortable, extended use
  • Easy-to-load magazine with one-hand operation
  • Chamber window allows visual confirmation of implant position
  • Simplistic, durable design for reliable performance
  • Easy to clean and maintain

Directions:

Line up the cartridge belt tab with the notch on the bottom of the implanter magazine and insert the belt until it clicks into place. Advance the first dose by moving the thumb lever down and up once, then confirm the dose is visible in the chamber window.

Properly restrain the animal and evaluate the ear, cleaning if necessary. Completely insert the needle under the skin on the backside of the ear so the implant deposits in the middle one-third of the ear. Squeeze the trigger fully to discharge the implant, then withdraw the needle. Advance the next dose by moving the thumb lever down and up.

Disinfect the needle between each animal and after any skipped implant by wiping with a sponge moistened with properly diluted disinfectant (chlorhexidine). Disinfect with the plunger rod extended only if it becomes dirty.

To remove a partially used belt, advance the belt with the thumb lever until it can be removed from the top of the magazine.

Care & Cleaning:

Periodically wash the Component EZ Implanter by wiping or washing the exterior with mild detergent. Flush the interior of the magazine with warm water and allow it to drain and dry completely before use. Use the enclosed brush to clean inside the needle as needed. Do not clean the interior or exterior of the device with disinfectant solution.
