Davis Maximum Chlorhexidine Shampoo is formulated with 4% chlorhexidine gluconate to help cleanse skin affected by bacteria and microorganisms. Designed for moderate to severe skin conditions, this therapeutic-strength shampoo helps promote healthy skin and coat while removing dirt and unpleasant odors. Its effective yet mild, ready-to-use formula contains deep-cleansing agents and moisturizers and may also be used for routine bathing.

Active Ingredient:

Chlorhexidine Gluconate 4.0%

Inactive Ingredients:

Purified Water, Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine (and) Cocamide MEA, Caprylyl Glucoside, Aloe Vera, Citric Acid, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Yellow #5, Floral Fragrance, Methylchloroisothiazolinone (and) Methylisothiazolinone.

Directions:

1. Wet the coat thoroughly with warm water.
2. Apply shampoo to the head and ears, avoiding contact with the eyes, and work into a lather.
3. Repeat the process over the neck, chest, midsection, hindquarters, and legs.
4. Allow the shampoo to remain on the coat for 5–10 minutes.
5. Rinse thoroughly. For best results, repeat the procedure.
