Canine Spectra 9 Dog Vaccine, 9-Way

Canine Spectra 9 is a combination vaccine for healthy dogs 6 weeks of age and older. It helps protect against nine canine diseases caused by distemper virus, adenovirus types 1 and 2, parainfluenza virus, parvovirus, and four strains of Leptospira bacteria. Made in the USA.

Directions and Dosage:

For use in healthy dogs 6 weeks of age and older. Rehydrate the vaccine cake with 1 mL of the supplied diluent and shake well. Withdraw the entire contents and administer one 1 mL dose subcutaneously (SQ), following the product label's aseptic preparation and injection instructions.

Dogs should initially receive two doses. The supplied directions specify repeating vaccination at 2- to 4-week intervals until at least 16 weeks of age, and also describe a second dose 2 to 3 weeks after the first. Follow the current product label and consult a veterinarian to determine the appropriate puppy vaccination schedule and need for subsequent boosters.

  • One Dose with Syringe: Includes one single-dose vial of dry vaccine, one 1 mL vial of vaccine diluent, and one disposable syringe.
  • 25 Single Doses with Syringe: Includes 25 single-dose vials of dry vaccine and 25 1 mL vials of vaccine diluent. (Syringes sold separately)

Storage:

Store refrigerated at 35°–46Β°F (2°–8Β°C), protected from light. Do not freeze. Do not mix with other products unless specified on the product label.

Cautions/Warnings:

Do not use in pregnant dogs. Only vaccinate healthy animals. The product has not been tested in pregnant animals. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur; administer epinephrine if needed under veterinary direction. Inactivate unused vaccine contents before disposal. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.

Leptospirosis risk: Dogs can be exposed to Leptospira through contact with infected urine or contaminated water, including in areas frequented by rodents and wildlife. Limit access to potentially contaminated water and consult your veterinarian to assess your dog's exposure risk and vaccination needs.
