Canine Spectra 6 (6-in-1 Vaccine for Dogs)
Distemper, Adenovirus Type 1, Adenovirus Type 2, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, Coronavirus.
Canine Spectra 6 is a combination vaccine for healthy dogs and puppies 6 weeks of age and older. It helps protect against six canine diseases: distemper, adenovirus type 1, adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and coronavirus. The vaccine contains the CPV2b strain, which is intended to provide protection against canine parvovirus, including CPV2c. Each dose is administered subcutaneously (SQ) after reconstitution with the supplied diluent. The single-dose option includes a syringe and needle, while the 25-dose tray does not include syringes or needles.

Directions:
Reconstitute the vaccine cake aseptically with 1 mL of the supplied diluent. Shake well, then withdraw the entire contents into a syringe. Administer one 1 mL dose subcutaneously (SQ). Subcutaneous administration:
- Lift the loose skin behind the neck or behind the front leg.
- Insert the needle under the skin and inject the entire contents of the syringe.
- Before injecting, pull back slightly on the syringe plunger. If blood enters the syringe freely, select another injection site.
Follow the product label for complete preparation and administration instructions. Use only as directed and administer only to healthy animals.
Vaccination Schedule:
The supplied directions recommend an initial dose followed by a second dose 2–3 weeks later. Puppies should receive repeat doses at 2–4 week intervals until at least 16 weeks of age, as directed by the product label and veterinarian. Maternal antibodies may interfere with the development of active immunity, so additional doses may be needed. Annual revaccination is recommended, but the need for this booster has not been established. Consult a veterinarian to determine the appropriate vaccination and revaccination schedule for your dog.
Storage:
Store in the dark at 2–8°C (35–46°F). **Do not freeze.**

Healthy animals only: Vaccinate only healthy dogs.

Pregnancy: Do not use in pregnant dogs. The product has not been tested in pregnant animals.

Mixing: Do not mix with other products except as specified on the product label.

Adverse reactions: In case of an anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine as directed by a veterinarian.

Disposal: Inactivate all unused vaccine contents before disposal, following label instructions.

Human exposure: Contact a physician if human exposure occurs.
Important Note About Leptospirosis:
Canine Spectra 6 does not include protection against leptospirosis. Dogs may be exposed to Leptospira bacteria through water or environments contaminated with infected animal urine, particularly when bacteria enter through breaks in the skin or mucous membranes. Limit access to potentially contaminated water and discuss your dog's individual risk and leptospirosis vaccination needs with a veterinarian.
