Canine Spectra 10 Dog Vaccine, 1 Dose with Syringe

Canine Spectra 10 is a combination vaccine for healthy dogs that helps protect against 10 canine disease agents, including canine distemper, adenovirus types 1 and 2, parainfluenza, parvovirus, coronavirus, and four strains of Leptospira. This vaccine is intended for dogs 6 weeks of age and older and is supplied as a single dose with a syringe for convenient administration.

Directions:

  1. Rehydrate the vaccine cake aseptically with the supplied 1 mL of sterile diluent.
  2. Shake well to mix thoroughly.
  3. Withdraw the entire contents into the syringe.
  4. Administer the full 1 mL dose subcutaneously (under the skin) according to the product label.

Vaccination schedule: The supplied directions recommend an initial dose followed by a second dose 2–3 weeks later, with additional doses for puppies as needed until at least 16 weeks of age. Maternal antibodies may interfere with vaccine response. Consult a veterinarian to establish the appropriate initial series and revaccination schedule.

Storage:

Store in the dark at 2–8°C (35–46°F). Do not freeze.

Cautions/Warnings:

Vaccinate healthy dogs only. Do not use in pregnant dogs; the product has not been tested in pregnant animals. Do not mix with other products except as specified on the label.

Leptospirosis can spread through contact with infected urine or water contaminated by infected urine, including through breaks in the skin. Potential carriers include rodents, wildlife, livestock, and infected dogs. Limit access to potentially contaminated water and discuss your dog's risk of exposure with a veterinarian.

Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. The product information identifies epinephrine for use in the event of such a reaction. Inactivate unused vaccine contents before disposal. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.
