Calf Nose Weaner

Study. compared to other nose weaning devices. Unfortunately, the bolt could be a little longer. Calves move their heads around to avoid weaner being put into place. Which can result in a dropped wing nut and washer. Because, the bolt is just barely long enough. Which results in having to repeat the process. I went to hardware and replaced the bolts with longer ones.

These are semi durable, most calves require one but sometimes a spare comes in handy. Takes stress off of the cow & calf at weaning time.

This little device has been great for our calves. We have 2 Jersey milk cows and this allows us to keep the heifers in with the mammas when it is time to be weaned. It does not hurt mamma, it just keeps the calves from being able to latch on. Works Gre
