Bovilis® Once PMH IN Cattle Vaccine

Bovilis® Once PMH IN is an intranasal avirulent live culture vaccine for healthy beef and dairy cattle, including calves as young as 1 week old. It aids in the control of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) caused by Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida, two leading bacterial causes of respiratory disease in cattle. This vaccine is administered intranasally and is designed for convenient vaccination of young calves and adult cattle.

Benefits:

  • Dual bacterial protection: Aids in the control of respiratory disease caused by Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida.
  • Early-age vaccination: For healthy beef and dairy cattle as young as 1 week old.
  • Intranasal administration: Given through the nostrils without an injection.
  • Annual revaccination: Supports an ongoing respiratory vaccination program.

Protects Against:

  • Mannheimia haemolytica: Aids in the control of respiratory disease associated with this bacterial pathogen.
  • Pasteurella multocida: Aids in the control of respiratory disease associated with this bacterial pathogen.

Directions:

Rehydrate the freeze-dried vaccine with the accompanying diluent. Mix the reconstituted vaccine well before administration. Administer aseptically into the nostrils according to the directions below.

  • 10-dose presentations: Rehydrate the vaccine using the accompanying diluent, then mix well.
  • 50-dose presentation: Use the provided transfer needle to rehydrate the vaccine with part of the accompanying diluent. Swirl the small vaccine vial gently until mixed. With the vials still connected, hold the small vial upside down and squeeze the large diluent bottle several times to transfer the reconstituted vaccine into it. Separate the vials, remove the vaccine label from the small vial, and apply it to the large bottle for identification.
  • Transfer needle caution: The transfer needle included with the 50-dose package is sharp and may injure people or animals if handled or disposed of improperly.

Dosage & Vaccination Schedule:

  • Minimum age: 1 week.
  • Administration: Give a single 1 mL dose into each nostril, or a total of 2 mL into one nostril.
  • Revaccination: Revaccinate annually.
