Betadine Solution

Antiseptic Microbicide

Betadine Solution is a broad-spectrum, topical antiseptic microbicide for removing germs from the skin and mucous membranes. Use the full strength solution for preoperative prepping of the skin, preventing bacterial infection, emergency antisepsis of minor lacerations, abrasions and burns, and postoperative application to surgical incisions.

Uses of Betadine Solution:

  • disinfects wounds, lacerations, abrasions and burns
  • kills gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and viruses
  • helps to reduce bacteria that potentially causes infections
  • preoperative prepping of the skin
  • post operative application to incisions
  • for use on companion animals including dogs, cats and horses

I like to keep my first aid supplies stocked. Don't need to use them often. But this is just an all around good product to keep on hand.

Just like it says!

This great solution does exactly what it says it does. Works beautifully! We also use it as a wash before we go into a goat when it is kidding if needed. Use it on scrapes and cuts all the time.
