Clostridium Chauvoei-Septicum-Novyi-Sordelli-Perfringens Types C & D + Moraxella Bovis Bacterin-Toxoid

Alpha 7 + MB-1 is a combination bacterin-toxoid vaccine for healthy cattle that provides protection against seven clostridial disease-causing organisms plus Moraxella bovis, the primary bacterial cause of pinkeye. Its low-volume, 2 mL subcutaneous dose makes administration convenient for calves, heifers, and adult cattle. The vaccine contains Clostridium chauvoei, C. septicum, C. novyi, C. sordellii, and C. perfringens Types B, C, and D, along with Moraxella bovis bacterin. Protection against pinkeye lasts at least 4 months.

Directions:

Mix well before use. Using aseptic technique, administer a single 2 mL dose subcutaneously prior to the onset of pinkeye season.

Maternal antibodies may interfere with the development of active immunity in young cattle, and additional booster vaccinations may be required. Consult your veterinarian or the manufacturer for recommendations regarding revaccination frequency.

• 50 Doses: 100 mL

Storage:

Store at 35°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C) and protect from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Use the entire contents when first opened.

Precautions:

Do not mix with other products. Not recommended for lactating dairy cattle, as use of a biological product may cause reduced milk production. This product has not been tested in pregnant animals.

Injection-site swelling may occur and can persist after vaccination. In the event of an anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine.

Withdrawal Period:

Do not vaccinate cattle within 60 days before slaughter.
