Yes, strap could be longer to pass thru buckle but collar is adjustable and it costs 4 bucks so you could pay 20 bucks and get same thing.

Do not buy -- a waste of money! The billet is not long enough to go through the other end of the buckle. Collar gets permanently lost somewhere on the farm within an hour!

These collars do not work. The strap does not go through the buckle. On some of the collars I bought the strap makes it just to the buckle others just behind the buckle. The collars are falling off several times a day. So do not invest in them.

Material is good. The end that goes through the buckel is too short. Dog is able to take of very easily.

The nylon used to make this collar is not as thick as I would have liked. it seems cheap and the 'metal' is not real metal. Just very cheap. I know you get what you pay for but it should be described better.
