Features & Benefits:

  • Hand-knotted from a continuous piece of 3/8" poly rope
  • Features lightweight design which makes it easy to handle and is ideal for anyone looking for a halter that can be removed or adjusted quickly
  • Its knotted design provides pressure points that help in directing the horse's movements easier, especially useful for basic obedience training
  • Features a hollow braid spun 1/2" x 10' poly lead that can be removed, when desired

What is this used for?

This Diamond Braid Rope Halter is an equestrian tool used for groundwork, basic obedience training, and everyday handling of horses. The strategic knots on the halter create clear pressure points that help communicate cues and direct a horse's movements effectively.

How to clean horse halters and leads?

Regularly cleaning your horse halters and leads is a key habit to maintaining the quality of your horse halters and leads. For leather halters, simply wipe it with a damp cloth across the surface to remove dirt and sweat. You can apply a leather conditioner to prevent cracking for a deeper cleaning.

For nylon and rope halters, these can be washed by hand or in a washing machine placed inside a mesh bag. Hang them to dry afterwards and wait for it to dry completely before storing.

Storage:

After cleaning and letting the tack completely dry, cover or place them inside a saddle bag before storing. Make sure the storage environment is dry, well ventilated, protected from direct sunlight, temperature-stable, and free from standing moisture, especially for leather-based tack.
