Elanco Quad Dewormer for Dogs

Bayer Quad Dog Dewormer is a broad-spectrum chewable anthelmintic. Removes common roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms. Safe for dogs over 3 weeks of age.

Dosage and Administration: May be given directly in the mouth or offered in a small amount of food. You should weigh your dog to make sure you are using the right size and number of tablets.

Size Chart for Quad Dewormer:

  • Puppy/Small Dog - - - - 2-25 lb
  • Medium Dog - - - - - - - 26-60 lb
  • Large Dog - - - - - - - - - 45 lb and up

Fasting is neither necessary or recommended.

Retreatment: Steps should be taken to control fleas and rodents on the premises in order to prevent reinfection. This is especially true in cases of tapeworms transmitted by fleas. If reinfection occurs, tapeworm segments may be observed within one month of initial treatment.

Active Ingredients*:

  • Praziquantel
  • Pyrantel Pamoate
  • Febantel

Side effects could include vomiting, bloody stool or watery/profuse stool. Consult your veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment and control of parasitism.

Unaffordable for large dogs

It may be better for dogs but overpriced and yet another cost of coyotes when you need to keep 5 livestock guardian dogs that are well over 100 pounds. Wondering about dosage if giving to 150 pound dogs. Seems it would be more? Livestock dewormers have w

Ddewormer

I have used Bayer quad wormer for all of my pups and it is very effective.
It has become pricey but I will pay for it because I believe my pups and dogs deserve the very best.

I have 4small dogs and this Quad deworme r works great on them

It seemed to work just fine, but I thought I'd have two treatments for the $$, not just two pills, both of which I had to use because of the dog's size. Because of that, it was no cheaper than Petco
