Sustain III Bolus is a sustained-release sulfamethazine treatment designed to combat bacterial infections in beef cattle and non-lactating dairy cattle. It is effective against bacterial pneumonia, shipping fever complex, bacterial scours, footrot, calf diphtheria, and acute metritis. Each bolus delivers a therapeutic level of sulfamethazine within approximately 6 hours and maintains effectiveness for up to 72 hours, making it ideal for receiving programs and early infection control.
