Rx Cefpodoxime Proxetil Tablet

Cefpodoxime is a drug commonly used to help treat skin-related infections in dogs. It is an orally administered cephalosporin antibiotic and can be used to help treat infections in wounds and abscesses in your dog's skin. It is also sometimes prescribed to treat bladder and respiratory infections in canines. It is not used to treat infections related to viruses. These tablets are designed for use in dogs alone. It is not for use in cats. Since it is an oral medication, you can administer it with your dog's food. However, this medication can also be taken without dog food. You will need a valid prescription from a licensed veterinarian in order to purchase this medication, so consult your vet to find out if Cefpodoxime is the best option for your pooch.
