Purina Beet Pulp Shreds
Purina Beet Pulp Shreds is an American made product supplied by farmers who grow sugarbeets throughout the Midwest. Shreds are the fibrous portion of the sugar beet that remains after the sugar is removed and are highly digestible, extremely palatable fiber in a low-dust and easy-to-feed form.
In addition to the digestive benefits, beet pulp is digested quickly in horses, making it ideal for quick energy in athletic or lactating horses. Beet pulp shreds are also great for hard keepers and horses with difficulty chewing or digesting hay.
Feeding Directions:
- Dry Feed: Mix with other feed ingredients.
- Wet Feed: Soak Beet Pulp in water for 2 hours or until the pulp has absorbed enough water to expand. Soaked shreds can be mixed with other feeds as is or after excess water has been squeezed out of shreds.
Ingredients: dried beet pulp, beet molasses.
