I bought the vet Gun a few years ago but from the beginning, there were issues at first the capsules wouldn’t break so I’ll call the company and they told me how to turn up the air pressure on the capsules so the next time, I use the vet Gun some capsules did Brake other others didn’t and some of them were lost in the past year, so it was kind of a hassle dealing with it so I thought about trying it again a couple of weeks ago I was out of CO2 cartridges so I had to order some when I went out in the field with several cartridges and the medication balls started having an issue with a cap that held the balls in the tube would not stay close and they would come out while I’m trying to use it but the main issue was that when I put a new CO2 cartridge in there was a large air leak from the pressure valve so I was having to deal with that using only a couple of balls while dealing with the other ones trying to come out from the other end then having to use another cartridge to try to deploy two more balls and also dealing with the balls rolling out because the cat wouldn’t stay in place I have probably used this vet gun maybe three times since I bought it and never had a smooth experience I feel like I wasted all my money in addition to the new cartridges that I had to buy that were wasted I wouldn’t recommend it myself to anyone
thankyou! we use this product for yrs now!!
Out of 30 caps there were at least 6 duds. Fir the cost, it’s not worth the money.
We have had good luck using the Vetgun system. Works well at controlling flies and the cattle don't seem to mind it.
Simple, easy method for short interval use. 25 shots at least. Costly compared to larger cylinders. Fine for small work, inefficient when treating more than 30 head.
