A latch that really works, is secure for both dogs and horses, and can be understood by a human who has never been on a ranch before.

Overall great product, and easy install. My only con, is that the chain length is a little on the short side. Will be ordering another one, to try on a different T-post combo gate, to see how it holds up.

Universal ? A few galaxies maybe - some minor star systems = sure.

I also bought a much longer chain for those gates that the suppled chain was too short. Just cut the correct length and it works perfectly.
