Jeffers Standard Tattoo Outfit with Roll-On Ink

Jeffers Standard Tattoo Outfit provides everything you need for professional-quality tattooing of livestock (Cattle, Swine, Sheep & Goats). Each outfit includes sturdy aluminum alloy pliers, a set of 3/8" digits (0-9), and a set of 3/8" letters (A-Z). The pliers are designed to hold up to 4 digits for precise and clear markings. The kit also includes Roll-On Black Tattoo Ink, with 2oz of ink included to get you started.

Includes:

  • Sturdy aluminum alloy pliers
  • Set of 3/8" digits (0-9)
  • Set of 3/8" letters (A-Z)
  • Roll-On Black Tattoo Ink
  • Pliers hold up to 4 digits
  • Includes 2 oz Roll-On Black Ink

Available in two options:

  • With Ear Release and Revolving Head: Designed for high-volume use, this option streamlines the tattooing process by allowing users to switch between different sets of numbers or letters without manually replacing characters. The revolving head reduces downtime and increases efficiency, making it ideal for large-scale operations that require multiple tattoo combinations. This feature ensures a seamless workflow, minimizes interruptions, and enhances overall productivity.
  • With Ear Release (NO Revolving Head): This straightforward design offers fewer moving parts, making it easier to handle, maintain, and operate. Its lighter weight provides better control for a secure and precise application without the potential shift of rotating components. Additionally, the non-revolving head model is typically more affordable, making it a practical choice for smaller operations or those who prioritize simplicity and reliability over speed.

Replacement/Extra Letters and Numbers also available.

Directions:

  1. Prepare the ear: Follow appropriate animal-handling and ear-preparation procedures before tattooing. Wear gloves to protect your hands.
  2. Apply ink: Apply tattoo ink to the designated area of the inner ear according to the ink manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Insert the characters: Arrange and securely lock the required letters and numbers into the pliers.
  4. Apply the tattoo: Position the pliers correctly and apply the tattoo to the prepared, inked area, following the tool manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Rub in the ink: Work ink into the tattooed area as directed to help create a clear, legible marking.
  6. Check the marking: Verify that the tattoo is legible and record the identification information for future reference.

Note: Proper technique and aftercare are important for a legible, long-lasting tattoo. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for safe handling, cleaning, and use.

Cleaning Instructions:

  1. Wear protective gloves: Put on protective gloves before handling or cleaning the equipment.
  2. Disassemble the pliers: Remove the digits and disassemble the pliers. Dispose of used digits appropriately.
  3. Wash metal parts: Clean the disassembled parts in warm water with a livestock safe disinfectant, following the disinfectant manufacturer's instructions.
  4. Clean the machine body: Wipe the exterior with a disinfectant wipe or a cloth lightly dampened with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Use alcohol-dampened cotton swabs to clean tight crevices and areas where residue may accumulate.
  5. Dry thoroughly: Allow all washed metal parts and the machine body to dry completely before reassembly.
  6. Reassemble and store: Reassemble the equipment and store it in a clean, dry area.
