Pyrantel Paste is an effective dewormer for horses and ponies, formulated for the removal and control of mature infections of large strongyles, small strongyles, pinworms, and large roundworms. This easy-to-administer oral paste ensures targeted treatment for optimal equine health.

Directions:

After removing the cap, deposit the paste on the dorsum of the tongue by introducing the syringe at the corner of the mouth and directing it backward. Depress the plunger to apply the paste, ensuring proper administration. Raising the horse’s head may assist with swallowing. When only part of the paste has been used, replace the cap on the syringe nozzle.

Dosage and Treatment:

Administer as a single oral dose of 3 mg pyrantel base per lb of body weight. The syringe features four weight mark increments, with each mark indicating the recommended dose for 300 lb of body weight. Refer to the product label for complete dosage instructions.
